Early Childhood Resource Centres

There are two early childhood resource centres based in Roscommon, Lean Ar Aghaidh Resource centre and Siamsa Resource Centre. They provide an educational service to children with learning and physical disabilities and children whom are on the Autism Spectrum from 2 years and 8 months to 6 years of age. Programme areas covered are cognitive skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, language and communication skills, social skills, play skills, interpersonal & personal skills and self-help skills.

We provide a transition service to support children to move from the resources centres to mainstream educational services.
