In October 2024, Brothers of Charity Services Ireland – West Region were delighted to support Eastside Arts Festival, an exciting new festival by and for the communities living and working in east Galway City. The intergenerational festival programme brought together visual arts, performing arts, interactive workshops, and nature-based activities. Highlights included storytelling, art exhibitions, a performance in Merlin Woods, an upcycling workshop, a local history talk, African dance, samba, choral music, and a céilí.
